With the construction of the CEVA rail link and ten priority development projects, Geneva is undergoing a process of major urban change with the aim of developing housing and transport infrastructure while preserving its natural environment and quality of life.

Our fellow GCN member Vincent Lusser, who is in charge of communication of urban projects for the Department of Town and Country Planning, Housing and Energy of the Canton of Geneva, will present what he sees as the three main communication challenges of urban planning.

This GCN lunch-time conference, takes place within the framework of the “Quinzaine de l’urbanisme – les grands projets pour Genève”, presented by the Department of Town and Country Planning, Housing and Energy of the Canton of Geneva, the School of Engineering, Landscape and Architecture – Geneva (hepia), as well as professional associations and institutions active in the field of architecture, urban planning and construction (FAI, FAS, FBA, FMB, FSU, MA, SIA).

This will also give members an opportunity to visit the exhibition, which will open to the public from 16 to 25 September 2014. A detailed programme of public conferences and round table discussions will be available early September on www.pavillonsicli.ch.
