Twebinar Wednesday, April 29 @ 11AM ET: Marketing Agencies & Social Media: What Marketers Expect from their Agencies
with Emily Riley, Senior Manager, Forrester Research
From social networks to community sites, consumers have already made the shift to social media. With social marketers starting to follow suit, now is the time for agencies to hone their social marketing offerings.
Join Emily Riley, Senior Analyst at Forrester Research, on April 29 at 11AM ET to learn about how agencies can better serve their clients with social media. This webinar will include insights from Forrester’s Social Marketer and Agency survey including what social marketers want from their agency as well as challenges facing both social marketers and agencies. It will also include case studies that provide examples of best practices of agency use of social media.
Last night some 30 members gathered for the second Geneva Communicators Apéro at the ‘Soleil Rouge’.
The rich taste of Spanish wines provided the perfect intimate ambiance to meet old friends as well as some newcomers, such as an American colleague who just recently settled in Geneva and found this the perfect place to get in touch with peers.
Some people were looking for communication jobs in the non-profit sector, others asked about where to find best public relations training. One participant is leaving for Costa Rica to gather material for his latest book and an architect from Lausanne said he had come because communication needs to be part of his professional interest. We all left into the windy Spring night looking forward to the next event.
Next apéro in May?!

Following our recent event on mobile communications, here is another blog which may be of interest about innovation, ideas, web 2.0, social Networking, collaboration, knowledge management…and more.

The author is Stephane Cheikh, a Geneva based SITA employee working on innovation. It is a collection of personal thoughts around topics such as future trends and innovation, disruptive web 2.0 business models and emerging technologis and markets.

This morning, we concluded the 3rd communicators blog breakfast meeting at the Geneva Press Club. Expert storyteller, consultant and coach, Sue Hollingsworth, entertained some 50 communicators with a very animated and interactive presentation about storytelling.
Unfortunately, time was scarce and many had to rush off to work. If you would like to get in touch with Sue, send us an email and we will send you her details.
We have added a few photos on our photo feed to the right of your screen…
Thank you again to Sue for her interesting presentation, to Nicole Voillat for making this possible, and to all of the participants who contributed to the discussion.
Any suggestions for future breakfast meetings are most welcome!
